Green Tea is NOT the Most Powerful Tea to Promote Hair Growth? Drink This Instead.

bamboo tea for hair growth

The other day I did a search of Google for "tea for hair growth."  To my surprise, most of the top search results were about green tea or black tea.  Part of the reason why green tea and black tea are brought up when it comes to the topic of hair growth, is because they both contain high levels of polyphenols and antioxidants.

Green tea is great!  In fact, you should consume it regularly because of its health benefits.

But if you're looking for a tea that's meant to have a direct impact on the health of your hair, you should absolutely choose bamboo tea.

When it comes to hair growth, bamboo leaf tea is far superior to green tea for several reasons.  The primary reason is because bamboo tea is rich in silica.

What is silica?

Silica is an essential mineral necessary for human function.  Silica is also known as the "beauty mineral."  We all have silica in our skin, connective tissue, bones, nails and hair.  When we're deficient in silica, we may start to notice things such as increased shedding, breakage and hair thinning.

The modern diet is really lacking in silica rich foods. When was the last time you've eaten rye or millet?  Thankfully, you can easily incorporate more silica in your diet by enjoying delicious bamboo tea.

Bamboo is made of 70% silica which is why it's so strong and why it grows so tall & fast.   Enjoying a few cups of bamboo tea, you're fortifying your body with much needed silica.

What are the Hair Benefits of Silica?

One major benefit of silica is that strengthens your hair and prevents thinning by delivering essential nutrients to your hair follicles.   Silica ensures that our hair follicles are getting all the vitamins and minerals needed to grow healthy strong hair.  Bamboo silica also contributes to the hair's flexibility and strength helping it to better withstand possible damage from daily styling.

When comparing bamboo rich silica tea to green tea, there's really no comparison.  Bamboo tea contains antioxidants and polyphenols like green tea but green tea is not fortified with silica. Did we also mention that bamboo leaf tea is also caffeine free? Some studies have shown that the more silica one has in their hair strand, the less shedding you will experience and the healthy the hair will appear.

It's clear which is the best tea if you're looking to promote healthy hair growth. Beautifully Bamboo tea is the right choice.
